Wendy Mahelon

It is our great pleasure to introduce Wendy Mahelona as our Associate of the Year. Her performance and dedication has made her a star among our many talented employees. Our Associate of the Year exemplifies the following principles: Attitude, Dedication, Responsibility and Growth. Wendy has demonstrated all of these characteristics, and more. In her current role as an Administrative Assistant for a medical insurance company, Wendy has already become an integral part of their team.

Over the last two years Wendy has completed 13 assignments with outstanding reviews. She has proven to be reliable in even last minute situations, and graces each new challenge with a smile and enthusiasm. We commend Wendy for her excellence and look forward to our continuing relationship with her.

Attitude
Succeeding as a temporary associate takes a certain mindset, a certain attitude. The Associate of the Year consistently displays an eagerness to learn, an acceptance of constructive criticism, and a positive outlook. This will makes not only for a successful associate, but it also helps those around flourish as well.

Dedication
Even with all the benefits and rewards of temporary work, it requires being in it—committed—for the long haul. Whether the assignment is for a week or for a year, it is important to give 100 percent from beginning to end. The Associate of the Year proves this dedication and commitment through actions and words, inspiring us to keep doing what we do: connect people with jobs and jobs with people.

Responsibility
Taking on new tasks at work, keeping in touch with staffing supervisors, submitting time sheets on time . . . although small things, these small things are what add up to character. Character allows an employee to take work seriously, to juggle many responsibilities for the client company, and to remain faithful to us here at Staffing Solutions of Hawaii.

Growth
Being able to learn and develop new skills on the job is essential to having a successful career. We hope all of our associates gain useful knowledge, skills, and abilities on their assignments, and those who have embraced the learning process make work a place of discovery.
