Position: Head Bank Teller

Location: Pukalani, HI

Pay: $21 to $24.50/hour (Plus sales incentives)

Experience:

1. 1 year of experience as an FHB Senior Teller; or
2. 2 years as an FHB Teller cross-trained to perform supervisor duties; or
3. 1 year as a Teller in another financial institution plus 2 years of supervisory and cashiering experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule:

1. Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
2. Rotational Saturdays, 8:30am to 1:30pm

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Head Bank Teller to join a growing and dynamic team! 

Position Requirements:   

1. Knowledge of financial services industry — retail, mortgage, loans, deposits, and wholesale banking preferred
2. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with a calculator
3. Good oral and interpersonal communication skills required
4. Attention to detail with ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
5. Demonstrated ability to lead a team
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
7. Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines

Hard Skills:

1. Teller transaction processing and cash balancing
2. Branch operations oversight and supervision of branch tellers
3. Banking product and service knowledge
4. Basic mathematical calculations and cash handling
5. Familiarity with standard branch operations concepts and procedures
6. Customer referral and sales of bank products and services

1. Strong leadership and team supervision skills
